Our Math Mall was a huge success! We were visited by all 1st grade classes, by T-1, and by several teachers and parents. Each student made sign for their own shop and then we opened up for business! We will finish adding up the money tomorrow, but we estimate the Mall made about R$250,00. Students were able to practice making change and counting money! We'll be able to buy many packages of diapers for the local orphanage. Thank you for your hard work, parents and students!
On Tuesday, June 3rd, students may bring outdoor or indoor toys. At noon, the entire grade level will meet on the track and field area to play and later have a special snack. Students may wear their pajamas to school tomorrow (optional)!
Please help us on the last week of school by returning classroom books by Thursday. (most books say J-1 on the cover or have colored stickers on the spine).
