Dear Students and Parents,
We hope you've had a phenomenal break and we our looking forward to hearing about your vacation!
School begins this Wednesday, Jan 22nd and we have a new schedule. A hard copy will be sent home, as well.
If your child hasn't written a postcard about their vacation it can still be done throughout this week. Here are a few guidelines that were shared in our last newsletter and a few digital postcards (using the Photocard App) sent by Amelie Young:
"When students return in January, they study geography. I know that many
of you will be traveling during the break and I would love to receive
post cards from around the world. I am asking that each student try to
send one post card to the class during the holiday, even if they simply
drive to the beach! These post cards will help students become engaged
in learning about different places in the world.
There are two options for sending a postcard:
1. Address the postcard to Ms. Heineberg at the following address:
Caixa Postal 1976
CEP 01059-970
São Paulo - SP
2. Use the following app and send the postcard via email to daphne.heineberg@graded.br
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/bill-atkinson-photocard-postcards/id333208430?mt=8
Here is what your child can write about:
1. What you have been doing?
2. What has the weather been like?
3. What is something unique about the place?
you are visiting
I look forward to receiving lots of postcards so I can make a wonderful
display of them outside the classroom!"
Enjoy your last two days and see you on Wednesday!
Love,
Ms. H and Ms. Bruno
